REINZOSIL, a universal sealing compound for the automotive sector, is now available in a new 310ml cartridge, which unlike the pressure can equivalent does not represent dangerous goods – enabling worldwide shipping.
In addition to the 70ml tube and 200ml pressure can, the new 310ml cartridge is approved for worldwide shipping without restrictions – by post, ship and air freight. The cartridge option also enables more extensive applications to be carried out in one operation as it can fit into standard guns meaning no separate dispensing unit is required.
REINZOSIL, a brand from German-based REINZ-Dichtungs GmbH, is suitable for sealing surfaces in engines, transmissions, axles, cylinder liners and plastic housings. The silicone mass seals flat component connections with sealing gaps from 0.15mm and is suitable for use with all engines and vehicles.
Earlier this year REINZOSIL was also updated to include a short-term temperature resistance of 320°C, along with a ‘Sensorsafe’ label which means it is not harmful to sensors. The sealant is also permanently temperature resistant from -50°C to +250°C.
