VIPA opens sealing division 24 March 2016

VIPA SpA has entered a business partnership with Chu Hung Oil Seals Industrial Co Ltd to create a sealing division, which will enable VIPA to expand the range of products it can offer its customers.

Taiwanese-based Chu Hung Oil Seals Industrial Co Ltd is a designer, manufacturer and supplier of rotary shaft seals and other sealing products. It has specialised in high-quality seals for over 25 years – supplying OEMs and aftermarket customers in over 150 countries.
The sealing division will enable VIPA to provide its customers with a design solution for a new application within days. Using 3D CAD technologies for both product and mould design, an average of 100 new seal designs, from simple single lip seals, to more complex cassette seals, to the latest PTFE sealing designs, can be successfully manufactured.
VIPA has a wide range of compound grades for each elastomer class, which satisfy most conditions and applications. For any special requirements VIPA will work in partnership with its supplier to provide a tailor-made solution. Once the correct compound has been selected – whether it’ll be for prototype or full production purposes – every batch of rubber has to pass VIPA’s stringent test specifications.
