Series 7000 torque wrenches 17 March 2017

Wera’s extensive range of tools for both manual and power tool applications includes its classic torque wrench Wera Series 7000.

Based in Wuppertal, Germany, Wera Werk Hermann Werner GmbH & Co KG says the Wera Series 7000 has a robust design, simple setting of the desired limit value, as well as a rapid changeover of the ratcheting direction. When the set value is reached a distinctly audible and perceptible signal is triggered and then the wrench is immediately ready for use once again.

The torque wrench covers a range of 1Nm to 25Nm. The easy to read scale shows Nm as well as lbf/ft. This range is ideal for bicycles and motorcycles that need components to be tightened to the correct torque levels to avoid breakage and loosening.

The maximum permissible precision of the tool is ±4% of the selected torque value – pursuant to EN ISO 6789 – which verifies the measurement accuracy of the wrench.

The 290mm long wrench comes with ¼ inch square drive with ball lock for sockets and a reversible action for undoing. Each torque wrench is also supplied with a calibration certificate.
