A smart solution for secure fastening, Krumm & André GmbH & Co KG – part of the Paal Group – has recently introduced GUK, a self-locking slotted nut designed to ensure reliable performance during application.
Equipped with a polyamide insert, slightly smaller than the nut’s flank diameter, the GUK generates increased friction when screwed onto the shaft, providing a locking effect.
Krumm & André explains: “Our products stand for reliability and precision – essential qualities in modern manufacturing processes. Having been in the fastener industry for more than 120 years, Krumm & André has evolved into a strong brand for fastening elements – with a clear focus on quality, precision and tailored customer solutions. Being part of the Paal Group for more than three decades has further strengthened the business’ development, enabling us to strategically expand our product portfolio.”
Today, Krumm & André supplies customers worldwide with a broad range of technical components including custom-made shim washers, spring pins, slotted nuts and many other parts.
To ensure not only top quality products but also optimal availability, Krumm & André relies on a powerful logistics infrastructure with a warehouse spanning over 3,000m² with 5,000 pallet spaces and 15,000 small parts compartments.
