Ongoing investment fuels JRP’s growth 23 April 2025

To drive continued growth for the JRP brand, Owlett-Jaton is consistently introducing new product lines and initiatives, which includes the successful launch of blind rivet retails bags in late 2023. Now, in order to meet the increase in customer request for rivet nuts in the same format, JRP is introducing 50 lines of rivet nut retail bags across nine ranges, as well as three assorted rivet kits.

JRP’s retail bag range is an ideal way for distributors to offer a new product range with little outlay. Comprising the most popular rivet and rivet nut lines in smaller quantities, the range is ideal for small usage requirements. These new bags cover flat head, countersunk head and reduced head round knurled body open blind rivet nuts, as well as flat head full hexagon body open blind rivet nuts.

In addition, the new assorted kits feature a mix of ten sizes of dome head open blind rivets in a handy case. Available in aluminium/steel, steel and A2 stainless steel, the kits have been well received and appear to be as successful as the retail bags, with the range expected to expand even further soon.

“Our drive to continually develop and grow the JRP range comes from customer and end user demand. Changes in the retail environment, advancements in manufacturing and economic shifts have all played a part in our JRP strategy and will continue to do so. I’m looking forward to seeing the success of the new rivet kits, as their composition is attractive to many smaller scale manufacturers and construction tradespeople,” highlights Warren Keeley, technical support specialist at JRP.

Only twelve months ago, six ranges, comprising over 80 lines of boxed rivet nuts, were launched with remarkable success. The nuts added were in addition to the existing 230 rivet nut lines. They included multiple ranges of closed-body rivet nuts, which provide additional options for manufacturers looking for a sealed end to prevent water ingress. The introduction of these ranges opened the JRP range up to new opportunities in market sectors such as electronics, rail, automotive, and agricultural sectors, requested by distributors to secure growth.

In addition to these products JRP also provides its online comparison tool that has been exclusively designed to help customers find the exact JRP riveting product they need. The unique tool is an easy to use online converter accessed online, with the user simply entering an alternative supplier code into the box and the tool returns the JRP equivalent. The tool aids those looking for a new or alternative rivet supplier who need help with product conversion and can be used across the entire range.
