One battery for all 07 May 2019

The Badaptor from Power Adhesives is a battery adaptor that lets users convert one of three 18V batteries for use with Power Adhesives’ first battery powered glue gun – the b-tec 807 – eliminating the need to buy new battery systems for just one tool.

The Badaptor is available in three different versions, allowing customers to use their 18V DeWalt®, Makita® or Milwaukee® battery in any tool that takes a Ryobi® 18V battery. Users can save money by using their existing batteries and can enjoy more freedom when using their Ryobi® tools.

Power Adhesive’s b-tec 807 has been designed to use the widely available Ryobi® 18V ONE+ range of lithium+ batteries and chargers, which can achieve rapid recharge times. These batteries, which can also be used to power a range of Ryobi power tools, include an on-board 4-stage fuel gauge to indicate how much charge is remaining, making it easier for users to know when a charge is required.

Simple and easy to use, the Badaptor allows operators more flexibility when using the b-tec 807 glue gun, which is completely portable and enables users to work virtually anywhere. This makes it ideal for awkward applications where a mains power source isn’t available, or where the gun needs to be taken to the job in hand.

Taking the full range of high performance tecbond 12mm (½ inch) glue sticks, the b-tec 807 is well suited to attaching devices like PIRs, carrying out car bodywork repairs, attaching low voltage cables and carpet gripper rods, and for window dressing and creating exhibition displays.

The b-tec 807 has a strong glue output of 1.9 kilos per hour and reaches operating temperature in only 3 minutes. Covered by a 12 month warranty, the b-tec 807 can be purchased alone or as part of a kit, with separate battery and charger sets also available. All three Badaptor variants are now available from Power Adhesives.
