In the up to date edition of its ‘8/1 Blind Rivets Catalogue’ Rivit Srl has included a new range of CANRIV connecting rivets.
CANRIV are special rivets consisting of a tubular section and a blind rivet. This structure provides an extra wide grip range, as it creates a large spacing area between the sides of the application, enabling excellent clamping without crushing the materials to be joined.
CANRIV rivets ensure excellent filling of the hole due to the expanded rivet body, creating a strong and vibration resistant junction. The blind rivet body enters, when installed, the tubular section and prevents any loosening of the joint. The head form, with a low profile on both sides of the application, makes it possible
to obtain neat and nice clamps.
Thanks to these features, CANRIV rivets are ideal for use in thin sheet, soft or brittle materials. Their main assembly applications are in toys, furniture, racks, stadium seating and street signs. CANRIV rivets are available in aluminium and steel.
