A manufacturer of high-quality bolting solutions and cold forging technology, HEICO Group is celebrating its 125^th anniversary this year and plans to celebrate by presenting its latest product innovations – HEICO-LOCK^® reaction washers, HEICO-ONE safety washers and HEICO-TEC^® expansion bolts – at Fastener Fair Global.

Based on the proven two washer wedge-locking principle, HEICO-LOCK^® reaction washers are an innovative bolt-locking solution that can be tightened reaction-free using electric, hydraulic and pneumatic torque tools – making them ideal for particularly large bolted joints and serial bolting applications. Reaction washers also allow for tightening without reaction arms or supporting brackets, ensuring a safer working environment. Another advantage for users is that the reaction washers are compatible with almost any torque tool from leading manufacturers. 

HEICO has also introduced a new single locking washer for usage in combination with the reaction washers. The new HEICO-ONE safety washer prevents rotation of the passive side in through-bolt connections, while simultaneously securing the bolted joint. Thanks to the
HEICO-ONE safety washer, additional locking with a second wrench or special tools is no longer necessary, eliminating the need for a second operator.

Another addition to HEICO’s pre-tensioning product line is the HEICO-TEC^® expansion bolts, which have completed HEICO’s tensioning system series. Expansion bolts offer an ideal solution for connecting large couplings with transversely loaded bolts, such as those found in gearboxes and shafts of wind turbines, hydroelectric turbines, gas turbines, as well as drive technology applications. Available in three versions – for threadless holes, blind holes and through holes – HEICO-TEC^® expansion bolts are individually designed and precisely tailored to specific application requirements.

However, HEICO’s success this year extends beyond new product developments. Since the end of 2024 HEICO-LOCK^® wedge lock washers, made of steel, in sizes M5 – M39 of the HLS/HLB types (standard and wide outer diameter), have carried CE Marking. This certification, based on ETA accreditation (ETA – 20/0075), enables the large-scale use of HEICO-LOCK^® standard wedge-lock washers in steel construction, building and bridge construction.
