HellermannTyton has released updated versions of its handheld cable tie application tools, EVO 7i and 9i, offering visual and functional enhancements in-line with the company’s ongoing strategy to produce tools for customers processing wire, cable and tubular bundles.
A key feature of the EVO® line is HellermannTyton Corporations’s patented Tension-Lock-Cut technology, which freezes the tensioner before the cut is made, eliminating kick back. The specially designed ergonomic handles also help to reduce repetitive strain injuries for the user.
The EVO 7i tension and cut cable ties ranging from 18lbs – 80lbs, while the heavier duty EVO 9i processes 50lb to 255lb ties, including wide strap ties. Both tools are available in standard or short hand span models to accommodate all users. An additional model, the EVO 9HT, delivers even higher tensions for applications such as heavy equipment manufacturing.
Each tool is housed in a lightweight composite body that is resistant to damage and is moulded in the company’s signature dark blue.
