Rivit Srl says its CONTROLRIV process monitoring system will enable users to improve efficiency when placing blind rivets and rivet nuts, when connected to various Rivit riveting tools.
The basic CONTROLRIV system works when connected to the RIV938CB tool for rivet nuts, and also the RIV502, RIV503, RIV504, RIV505 tools for blind rivets. Once the unit is connected to the tool, the operator must set the working standards. Regular unit checks help to avoid mistakes and oversights, improve productivity and quality of work, and obtain a reduction in rejects.
The unit is designed with an easy to use display, which enables users to set procedure and monitor activities through a few simple steps. It also features many important functions such as piece counter and lot counter.
The unit comes with audio-visual alarm systems designed to monitor and provide audible and visible alert to either right or wrong performances, and to highlight the absence of air. In addition an on/off pneumatic valve for the compressed air has been added, to prevent further errors during the process and consequently to provide greater safety.
Also available is the Evolution version of the unit, which is equipped with a USB port for remote and wireless connections to a PC, which can itself control multiple modules simultaneously.
CONTROLRIV will be presented to the market for the first time at EMO exhibition held on 5th – 10th October, in Milan, Italy.
