Designed with the user in mind, and manufactured for strength and durability, the new Wright® Striking Wrenches improve fastener torque load while decreasing rounding and distortion of the fastener.
Designed to withstand heavy-duty applications, Wright’s wrenches are manufactured in the USA with strength and durability. Available in four different styles – straight handle, SAE offset handle, metric offset handle and straight handle/orange finish – these wrenches come in nearly 100 sizes, ranging from 11.7cm – 32mm (4 ⅝ inches – 12.5 inches).
The new wrenches also feature a new patented Wright Drive 2.0® 12 point design, which the company reports has up to 10 times more tool to fastener contact area than conventional 12 point wrenches. Also available is a Wright Drive 2.0® 6 point design, which moves the contact area away from the corners. This specialised circular diameter design improves fastener torque load while decreasing rounding and distortion of the fastener.
“Our striking wrenches are ideal for applications involving heavy construction equipment, off-highway equipment, power plants and large chemical and processing facilities,” says Tom Futey, president and co-owner at Wright Tool Company.
