Companies seeking to automate packaging processes often face the challenge of integrating automated palletising and load securing technology into existing systems. As a specialist in packaging machinery, GREIF-VELOX GmbH offers customised, flexible solutions that make it easier to seamlessly integrate palletising robots and load securing elements into existing packaging lines.
By utilising the VeloPack robotic palletiser, the VeloFlexLabeler for robotic labelling, and automated load securing systems,
GREIF-VELOX enhances packaging efficiency helping to minimise manual intervention and downtime, improve workplace safety and ensure optimised process flow. Thanks to their modular design, these systems can be easily integrated into existing packaging lines, thereby optimising the handling of various packaging types – including bags, drums, canisters, hobbocks, cartons and roll goods.
These solutions include the VeloPack Palletizing Robot, which offers highly precise, fully automated palletising and depalletising solutions, with configurable gripping tools for diverse products and handling tasks. It also features bag equalisation, using various available technologies, such as roller belts, vibration plates, press stations and compaction sections to ensure the optimum stackability of bags.
GREIF-VELOX also offers stretch wrapping systems to reduce material usage and ensure secure pallet loads, which are capable of handling up to 80 pallets per hour, as well as conveying technology. This includes roller and chain conveyors, corner transfer units, turntables, and pallet lifts to facilitate a fully automated material flow for pallets or drums.
“Our fully automated solutions position GREIF-VELOX as a leader in packaging automation,” comments Sebastian Pohl, managing director at GREIF-VELOX. “We focus on scalable, intelligent automation concepts that help businesses future-proof production environments while maximising cost efficiency.”
