Würth Industrie Service GmbH & Co KG and Dringenberg GmbH Betriebseinrichtungen have added two further variants to the Kanban rack CPS^®KANBAN flex with CPS^®KANBAN flex mobil, a mobile Kanban rack on castors, and the CPS^®KANBAN flex protect, a rack that can be closed with front-mounted roller shutters and front-mounted doors.

Instead of usual shelves, the CPS^®KANBAN flex stands out because it can either be used on modular shelves with rails, as well as drawers, or even shelves with dividers for bulky and long goods. Each base can be used individually depending on customer requirements, making it possible to customise the modules afterwards as well. 

Thanks to the innovative rail technology, the fire load is reduced maximally compared to conventional shelves. Furthermore, the rails in combination with crossbars, as well as a stable upright profile, prevent the individual bins from slipping unintentionally, which ensures maximum organisation on the racks. The fact that the rails are compatible regardless of the bin size of the patented Würth small load carrier W-KLT^®2.0 also points to absolute flexibility. 

The innovative CPS^®KANBAN flex mobil is first and foremost a certified Kanban rack in accordance with DGUV regulations, but is mobile due to its plastic castors and has a maximum load capacity of up to 1,000kg. Additional forklift pockets provide even more mobility along the production line. The extremely strong racks can also be transported over long distances without any complications. If the rack is moved manually by an employee in production, a specially fitted foot protection provides additional safety. 

A wide range of racks variants – with a standard height of 1,830mm, a depth of 800mm and rack widths of 1,000mm or 1,300mm – are available for storing the bins. Thanks to perforated side and rear panels, it is also possible to attach additional accessories. 

With CPS^®KANBAN flex protect, industrial customers can now benefit from a modular Kanban rack that provides greater protection for stored goods, due to the availability of the option to close it. In particular, fragile parts such as hydraulic fittings or seals can be optimally protected against dirt. As an extension package of the CPS^®KANBAN flex, the two safety mechanisms can be fitted quickly and easily as add-on elements subsequently, depending on the customers’ requirements. The rack has a standard height of 2,000mm, a width of 1,300mm and two rack depths of 600mm and 800mm. Different accessories can also be attached here as required.
