Trutek Fasteners is looking to not just be a supplier of construction fastening systems, but a long-term business partner for its customers, which is why the company is looking to invest in production in Poland.
By working with local producers, as well as investing in machinery and tooling to set-up its own production facility in Warsaw, Trutek is looking to meet the needs of locally produced products that have arisen since the Covid-19 pandemic. “Dealing with uncertainty regarding long lead times has become an issue for a lot of customers at the moment,” states Steve Miller purchasing/marketing manager at Trutek. “Flexibility is what the market is looking for and the ability to act fast with quick turnarounds is required. That is why we are investing in our production capabilities within Poland and we are excited about what opportunities this can bring us in the future.”
Formed in 2002 Trutek Fasteners Polska Sp z.o.o has always had one vision and that was to service the market place with high-quality products at competitive prices, supported by the technical back-up customers would expect from a leading player for construction fastening systems.
Trutek is part of an international holding group that includes production and trading companies operating in all parts of the world, including in Poland where the company has its logistics warehouse and offices. “We moved into a new warehouse in 2019 and this has given us the ability to store over 1,000 pallets and given us room to grow our business,” explains Steve. “Through the new warehouse we have also been able to heavily invest in our stock, so that we can react quickly to any fluctuations in demand.”
From the very beginning Trutek’s aim has been to supply the full range of construction fastening systems, as well as build a strong supply chain that could deliver quality and consistency. “This strategy has worked to help make Trutek a strong and recognised brand in the industry,” mentions Steve. “Another key development for us as a business was in 2016 when we embarked on an extensive approval programme to further back up our statement as a serious player in the market. Today we can boast over 40 European Technical Assessments and ITB approvals – with an extensive technical database – to make selection of the correct product a seamless solution.”
Trutek has also recently worked on its online presence, with the introduction of a new website, as well as branding geared towards customers’ requirements. “Online customers can select the right product, for the right application, with the knowledge that all the information is at hand to make the correct choice,” points out Steve. “We also have a design software calculation program that is available to all our customers. This helps structural engineers, in the process of selecting products for building projects, make sure the correct loadings are achieved.”
By the end of 2020 Trutek also plans to have a full library of product animations, which will be developed to show clearly how products should be installed to achieve the right results.
“Trutek is always evolving and we will continue to evolve to meet the demands of our customers now and in the future,” concludes Steve.
