SIPA – providing additional services 27 September 2016

Founded in 1989 for the production of plates and angles for hardware, SIPA Srl has developed its own catalogue of products, which it has recently supplemented by developing cutting iron and plastic moulding services for third parties.

SIPA started the pressing of plastics in 1999 as a complementary service and introduced to its range a variety of plastic products such as adhesive hooks, key ring, duck hooks, as well as under chair caps. In 2001 the company developed its own mechanics shop that helped it deal with both the maintenance of the moulds and their planning and implementation as well.

In 2006, SIPA began its production of washers of various sizes and regulations taking a further step forward in its growth – developing new marketing and also starting to expand abroad thanks to the participation in trade fairs in the European sector.
Today SIPA has a facility of over 9,000m2, which focuses on four distinct areas:
- Iron cutting department: Includes 30 automatic presses for the cutting of sheet tapes of 50 to 250 tonnes.
- Plastic pressing department: Composed of 10 automatic presses for the pressing of plastic material in granules of 50 to 430 tonnes. There is also a bicoloured 250 tonne press that enables the use of two diverge materials or two diverge colours simultaneously.
- Mechanical workshop department: The fleet consists of three work centres, three grinding machines, one lathe, one radial drill,
one microdrill, two erosion plunges and two erosion wires.
- Warehouse department: The store spreads over 4,000m2 and its strength is fast delivery, which has always been a characteristic
of SIPA’s service.
Within the warehouse SIPA also has various manual packaging machines and three automatic packaging lines for both boxes and bags – to satisfy all the demands of its customers.
“We are able to offer customers a 360 degrees service. From a simple idea, a sample, or a technical drawing, we are able to develop the design and detail of a mould both for iron as well as plastic articles,” points out SIPA
