On 1st June 2021, BeA GmbH took over the business operations of Joh Friedrich Behrens AG, with the manufacturer of fastening technology for wood and wood-like materials now looking confidently to the future with a new owner and new management team.
Dr Jörg Dalhöfer and Stephan Kreft will lead the BeA Group as managing directors and the Group will continue with the well known brands and product range of BeA, BeA Autotec and KMR in all markets where they have been represented to date.
“Reliability, quality and a high understanding of applications are our factors for success,” emphasises Dr Jörg Dalhöfer. “The motivation of the employees is very high. We have established new structures with flat hierarchies and a strong sense of personal responsibility among the employees.”
The owner of BeA GmbH is GREATSTAR Europe AG, with BeA and its subsidiaries managed as an independent group of companies from the headquarters in Ahrensburg near Hamburg. Around 150 employees currently work there in the areas of administration, purchasing, development, production, logistics and sales.
The company employs 450 people worldwide and has eleven subsidiaries and three branch offices in key markets. In addition, the company’s brands are present in more than 40 countries with sales partners. BeA generates 60% of its turnover outside Germany.
