Striving for perfection and constant innovation, HAZET supplies quality hand tools to over 100 countries worldwide from its four manufacturing facilities in Germany, where it manufactures 75% of its products.
Established in 1868, HAZET-WERK – Hermann Zerver GmbH & Co KG has three manufacturing plants in Remscheid. HAZET’s ‘plant one’ is an advanced facility with both forged and CNC controlled production, as well as the most advanced technology.
The second Remscheid-based facility, HAZET’s ‘plant three’, contains a welding robot, a fully automatic laser cutting system and a punching and bending centre to ensure future top performances in sheet metal forming. In addition to the diverse sheet metal forming methods, the well-known Assistent tool trolleys are also made here. As well as this, at its HAZET’s ‘plant four’ in Remscheid-Vieringhausen, its high precision torque wrenches are made, mounted and calibrated.
Another HAZET plant is based in Heinsberg, situated in the border triangle between Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands – with good transport connections. With regard to the European market, HAZET’s logistics centre is also located here.
“By keeping control of all our production processes we have the added benefit of offering our products ‘off the shelf’, which has never been more important,” comments HAZET.
As well as this, HAZET works together with experienced and long-standing partners in over 100 countries worldwide to offer its customers and users additional benefits in terms of services. This includes its unique torque wrench service packages, which offer the customer an annual maintenance and calibration service.
