With half a century’s worth of experience in speed fastening technology on mandrels for single use, MTG Hartmut Thiele GmbH is able to guarantee a high degree of reliability and flexibility – even for technically demanding requirements.
Based just outside of Hanover in Barsinghausen, Germany, MTG places great importance on its proximity to customers, which enables the company to offer a tailored approach to any project – with both new and existing customers. MTG manufactures pneumatic and hydro-pneumatic rivet setting tools capable of setting up to 200 speed rivets on mandrels for single use, with wire lengths between 400mm and 1,100mm – without having to change the mandrel.
These processing tools are available both as handheld devices and as stationary devices. Dependant on the application, MTG can also supply single and multiple riveting stations as complete workstations – where several magazine rivets can be set simultaneously into one component.
“In recent years, magazine riveting technology has made remarkable progress,” highlights MTG. “This includes through the development of our new, lightweight generation of pneumatic hand riveting tools, which offer high-speed and precision. Depending on the application, these tools can be attached to a suspension or riveting system with a foot valve, which greatly increases production efficiency.”
MTG adds: “Our tools are versatile, which is important as the fastener market seems to shift more towards automation. Our innovative speed magazine riveting technology can easily be integrated into manufacturers’ automation processes and increase the productivity of work processes.”
As well as improving production efficiency, customer satisfaction is also a top priority. “We offer a high degree of flexibility, in order to be able to adapt to ever changing customer requirements,” comments MTG. “Our employees have many years of experience in the development of setting tools, so that we can guarantee a high degree of reliability, and long service life.”
To further underline this quality, MTG’s management system has been certified in accordance with DIN EN 9001:2015, with the company continuously searching for ways to improve its processes. This includes through its recently renewed ERP system and expanded IT security. “We strive for continuous improvement measures in all areas of our company in order to adapt and meet customers’ requirements. With MTG, customers can find the right dimensions to ensure a durable, high-quality industrial product.”
