Embracing new technologies 23 June 2025

Ningbo Londex, part of the Lontana Group, offers first-class quality fixing products, services and customised solutions to its customers around the world. These services include accurate delivery times, technical advice and support, as well as a reduced carbon footprint.

To reduce the impact of its carbon footprint and provide the company with greater energy autonomy, Ningbo Londex Industrials Co Ltd has installed solar panels in its production facility, which covers an area of 22,500m2. Fully equipped with state of the art machinery, the facility is dedicated to the manufacturing, assembly and packing of fastener and fixing products.

In addition, any secondary processes are carried out on fully automated stamping machines, zamak injection machines, cold forming and bolt threading machines. “Energy efficiency and the reduction of the carbon footprint has always been present in our environmental and sustainability policies,” outlines Oscar Canas Herce, head of international sales for the Lontana Group’s fastening business area.

With a focus on providing a quality service, Ningbo has also recently started working with a consultancy company to obtain the required, reliable data for the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) regulation. Oscar explains: “To offer our customers a complete full service we were pioneers in China to offer reliable CBAM data, as well as providing quarterly updates on this, further strengthening our competitiveness across the market.”

He adds: “Since the beginning of Londex, we have made a firm commitment to the continuous improvement of our processes and we will continue to incorporate new technologies to guarantee the quality and homogeneity of our products.”
