For almost seven decades Bülte has provided high-quality plastic fasteners ‘Made in Germany’. Through internal growth, a worldwide presence, as well as its new Groupe Bülte strategy, the company is constantly seeking to meet the expectations of its customers across four continents.
As part of this growth, in June 2021 Bülte bought the plastic parts division of German-based Werit Kunststoffwerke GmbH – a specialist in plastic fasteners – in order to reinforce its manufacturing capacity and help meet delivery times. “Thanks to the acquisition of Werit we have been able to consolidate our position in our markets – specifically in the northern and eastern European market,” explains Fanny Bülte, granddaughter of the founder, and executive director at Bülte. “The acquisition also represents a major strategic shift for our new Groupe Bülte strategy.”
Bülte currently offers more than 30,000 references including washers, spacers, barrels, nuts, screws, plugs, operating knobs, plastimont, adjustment feet, cable glands, miscellaneous parts, as well as handles. “Customer satisfaction is still our number one priority,” explains Fanny. “This means that as well as our wide range of products we are concentrating on increasing our special parts. By adopting the best production methods to suit a customer’s technical and financial requirements, we can produce components according to customer demands and help meet customer needs as effectively as possible.”
Bülte is also able to offer 2D and 3D prototypes, as well as CAD downloads to help with the design of special parts.
A new website – fast, dynamic, efficient and user-friendly
Amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, Bülte was able to reflect on its marketing and communication strategy – which included investing time and effort into the customer experience. “For several years we have been digitising our company. During the pandemic we felt it was the right moment to improve our sales tool by bringing our website completely up to date to meet the digital needs of our customers and leads. The new website is more ergonomic, more accessible, more dynamic, and has been developed so that we can adapt to the significant changes observed during the pandemic,” comments Fanny.
Features of the new website include a a powerful search bar; filters to help navigation and searching; as well as drawings – allowing users to easily visualise the type of part needed. “This new design, which is also dynamic and functional, should give full satisfaction to the users during their various searches,” concludes Fanny.
