SFS and HECO have announced a strategic partnership, based on their complementary offerings, to bring customers a broader range of products and services and to benefit from operational synergies.
Ludwig Hettich GmbH & Co KG (HECO) is headquartered and has its main production plant in Schramberg, Germany. It also produces part of its timber screw and fixings range in Câmpia Turzii, Romania. The family-owned company has sales of around 35 million euros and employs 230 people. Employment will not be affected by the agreement with the construction division of SFS Group.
As part of the agreement SFS Group will, subject to competition authority approval, acquire a 30% interest in HECO via a capital increase. SFS said proceeds from the share issue will be spent on projects to improve competitiveness and accelerate growth.
