The European Commission has published its regulation applying anti dumping duties on screws without heads originating in People’s Republic China. The regulation will come into force today (Tuesday 17th June 2025) and will apply to imports of the product concerned into the EU from that date.
According to the definition of the product concerned in Article 1, Section 2 of the regulation, the provisional anti dumping duty is imposed on imports of screws and bolts, whether or not with their nuts and washers, without heads, of iron or steel other than stainless steel, regardless of tensile strength, excluding coach screws and other wood screws, screw hooks and screw rings, self-tapping screws, and screws and bolts for fixing railway track construction material, currently falling under CN codes 7318 15 42 and 7318 15 48 and originating in PR China.
