From 26th – 29th September, Erkrath, near Düsseldorf, became the setting for the first ever World Riveting Congress 2024 (WRC2024), hosted by the Goebel Group.
The event brought together buyers, distributors, engineers, and industrial customers from around the world to discover the latest developments in blind rivets and riveting machines.
With an impressive number of participants and representatives from 19 countries, the WRC2024 had a strong international presence and offered numerous highlights, including twelve expert presentations in both German and English that provided insights into the latest trends and innovations in the industry.
Attendees also had a factory tour where guests had the opportunity to experience Goebel’s new production facility for blind rivets up close. The tour provided fascinating insights into the ‘Made in Germany’ manufacturing process, which adheres to the highest standards of quality and precision.
Attendees were able to observe the entire production process, from material selection to final assembly and gain a clear understanding of how Goebel operates. The tour was led by Goebel Group experts who explained technical details and were available to answer questions. The three day event concluded on 28th September with the WRC2024 Golf Cup.
