Nord-Lock Group acquires Boltight 28 September 2015

Nord-Lock Group has acquired Boltight Limited, a hydraulic bolt tensioning company that is based in Walsall, UK. The directors of Boltight will continue to manage the company.

Founded in 1999, Boltight’s hydraulic bolt tensioning systems have a global reputation for innovation and excellent quality. Boltight products are used in demanding environments in a multitude of markets, ranging from energy to engineering, and construction to mining.

Nord-Lock Group is specialised in bolt securing and bolt tensioning systems, and says that the combined strength of the Nord-Lock wedge locking washers, the Superbolt® mechanical tensioning systems, and the Boltight innovative hydraulic bolt tensioning systems, creates a wide ranging powerhouse and dominant force in the increasingly important area of secure bolting solutions.
