Turkish-based Norm Group recently inaugurated its new logistics centre in the Izmir Atatürk Organised Industrial Zone – providing easier access to the other production facilities in the industrial zone, as well as helping the Group to strengthen its service network within the fasteners industry in Turkey.
With this new logistics center Norm Group aims to provide fast service to internal and external customers and create enough space to grow demand. The new logistics centre is 10,500m² and has a capacity of 24,000 pallets, which will enable the Group to continue to provide a complete and ‘just in time’ service to its customers in Turkey and abroad.
Norm Group has also recently introduced new production facilities in Salihli, Turkey, as well as other facilities in Istanbul, Izmir and Bursa, plus Paris – France, and Krefeld – Germany. This has seen the Group’s total capacity increase to 100,000 tonnes.
“Our logistic centres are specially located near important automotive customers such as VW Group, Daimler, Ford, Fiat, Renault, and PSA – Peugeot Citroen, to give us transportation advantages.”
