New company in Bontempi Group 01 April 2016

Bontempi Group has announced the startup of a new company, named FRAM Srl, which will manufacture and distribute hot and cold forging fasteners. The new venture will give the Bontempi Group the chance to complete its sale range, covering the entire fastener market from M5 to M64.

FRAM Srl was the idea of Raoul Bontempi, CEO at Bontempi VIBO (pictured – on the right) and Marco Polato, a member of a historical Italian family known as a leader in the hot forged bolt manufacturing market (pictured – on the left). The new company will enable the fastener Italian Group to take a giant step forward in its offer on the European market.
“Starting from March 2016 we will hit the high strength structural bolting assemblies market” says Marco Polato, CEO at FRAM Srl. “Our organisation will be immediately able to provide our customers with a complete range according to specification UNI EN 14399 from M12 up to M30.”
Raoul Bontempi adds: “In the following months we will put our new plant under a strong pressure in order to give our fully automated warehouse, settled in Rodengo Saiano (BS), the chance to supply – starting from June 2016 – a full range up to M64. ”
FRAM’s mission is to achieve the market leading position in the hot forged bolt market (standard and special) and in the structural bolts market. The company target is also to cover all channels of distribution for the European fasteners market, starting from the main distributors, reaching wholesalers and end users.
With the addition of FRAM, the Bontempi Group expects to steadily grow its total turnover developing all European markets. “We want to become the fastener European leader for all customers searching for a technical solution to their fixing and fastening needs,” explains Marco Polato.
“This is an exciting time for our Group as we continue to grow and expand our European reach,” mentions Raoul Bontempi. “We see immediate opportunities to accelerate our presence and participation in the fast growing markets of hot forged and structural bolts. We are confident that with our customers help we will be able to transform our, and their, projects into extraordinary successes.”
FRAM Srl, located in Bellusco (MB), will supply end users, wholesalers and small distributors – granting its customers an outstanding service and flexibility. Bontempi VIBO will continue its mission of supporting the specialised large fastener distributors all over Europe.
