Lars Holm is the new managing director of BUMAX Sweden AB, having been appointed to the role in October. With a strong background from the logistics, manufacturing, adhesive and tooling industries, he will focus on increasing global sales of BUMAX’s top quality fasteners.
In addition to appointing Lars Holm to managing director, Lennart Löfgren has been promoted to a new position as COO. As such, he will oversee the company’s operations at its factory in Åshammar in the heart of Sweden’s steel district, while Lars Holm will focus on the international market.
“BUMAX can help customers in a variety of industries overcome their fastener problems with superior solutions and by rethinking customer needs,” commented Lars Holm. “BUMAX has huge marketing potential to more proactively target customers with our unique products, and customer success stories, and that is my objective going forward.”
He added: “We are extremely well positioned as the ‘world’s strongest’ bolt, with a great range of products, and I like the fact that we are a solutionist. BUMAX products can add significant customer value compared with standard fasteners by overcoming customer problems and reducing lifecycle costs. Being part of the Bufab Group, Bufab is the mother company of BUMAX, is another competitive advantage as we can find synergies by working together with our sister companies and by thinking broader.”
BUMAX’s previous managing director, Patrik Lundström Törnquist, takes up a position as managing director of Bufab Norge AS, Bufab’s Norwegian subsidiary.
