With the acquisition of distributor of joining and fastening technology KEL Bulgaria Ltd, Böllhoff is expanding and strengthening its global network.
Formal signing of the contract and an opening ceremony took place at the beginning of January 2025 at KEL’s headquarters in Pazardzhik, 
Bulgaria. With this signature, the Bulgarian distributor is now part of the Böllhoff Group . A total of 6 employees will work in the new Böllhoff office and warehouse in Pazardzhik. Depending on market developments, further employees will be added in the future.
Wilhelm A Böllhoff, managing partner at Böllhoff Group, comments: “The aim of the Böllhoff site in Bulgaria is to support local customers with our entire know-how in the field of joining technology – and thus gain further market share. Numerous tier 1 suppliers to the automotive industry are represented on the Bulgarian market, among others. In addition, the country has strong sheet metal and aluminium processing industries.”
