The Montrose Group, headquartered in High Wycombe, UK, has announced the acquisition of the trade and assets of Izfast Ltd of Milton Keynes.
After a lifetime within the trade, the current owner, Ian Temple and his wife have announced their retirement and have chosen The Montrose Group to take over the business and management of Izfast customers.
Since 1st December 2015 the business has been based at Montrose Bedford, which is located in Kempston. In addition to the inventory and goodwill, Montrose has also offered continuous employment for all the Izfast staff.
Charles Ainsworth, managing director at The Montrose Group, said: “The Izfast business has many synergies with our own at Kempston, so the amalgamation of the two businesses is a logical step. I am pleased to say Ian and his colleagues have a very good reputation with their customers and we are looking forward to working with them in the future.”
Over the last 12 months the Montrose Bedford operation has undergone a full redesign and refurbishment to accommodate further growth, so this addition has come at a good time for The Montrose Group.
