Further to the announcement of Lesjӧfors' 51% purchase of the shares in Indian-based International Industrial Springs, Lesjӧfors has now completed the transaction – marking its first acquisition in India.
Rasmus Jostrup, head of strategy and M&A outlines: “Lesjӧfors has significantly expanded its global presence with the acquisition of its first company in India. This strategic acquisition not only strengthens Lesjӧfors’ growth, and geographic reach, but it also enhances the Group’s already impressive product portfolio, reinforcing Lesjӧfors’ reputation for having the widest range of products in the industry.”
With IIS’s established expertise in disc springs and washers, IIS complements Lesjöfors’ existing capabilities perfectly and offers excellent potential for growth in this product sector. Additionally, IIS also offers hot coiling capabilities, expanding from Lesjӧfors’ existing 65mm wire diameter manufacture to 80mm, opening new markets and opportunities for the heavy spring market.”
