National Machinery is expanding its capabilities to offer complete solutions to customers, from wire handling to finished precision parts, with the acquisition of Drawing Technology Inc (DTI), a wire drawing machinery company based in Rockford, Illinois.
For 25 years, DTI has been a trusted provider of wire handling, processing and drawing equipment. They have been serving the automotive, aerospace, construction, and industrial manufacturing industries. DTI will continue operations from its Rockford facilities, now backed by the expanded resources and global reach of National Machinery, ensuring continuity and enhanced support for its customers.
“This is an exciting step in the continued growth of National Machinery,” says Andrew Kalnow, CEO of National Machinery. “With DTI joining our family, we are now positioned to serve our customers more fully with integrated solutions across the metal forming process. DTI’s commitment to precision and complete customer service aligns with us perfectly.”
Chuck Schooley, President of DTI, shared his thoughts as he prepares to transition into retirement: “We’re proud to become part of the National Machinery family. As I transition to retirement, it was important to find the right partner. I trust National to continue to help our customers succeed in their wire processing needs. Our 18 year partnership laid the foundation for this next chapter, and I’m confident that DTI’s talented team will continue to drive innovation and deliver exceptional results for our customers.”
