Following the recent Spring meeting, BIAFD is urging members to respond to the UK government’s CBAM consultation and has even prepared a suggested response for companies to use.
BIAFD is encouraging as many members as possible to respond to the consultation to assist in getting CN Code 7318 excluded from the proposal.
Ian Doherty, chairman at BIAFD, explains: “Responding to the consultation should take no more than 10 to 15 minutes, which is a great investment if the responses succeed in having CN Code 7318 excluded – helping companies to avoid all of the costs and administrative burden they would face if CN Code 7318 was to be included within the UK CBAM.”
