Dimac will be using Fastener Fair Italy to launch its new ‘Pay Per Use’ business model paradigm, which will allow any Italian customer to rent a Dimac 100% inspection machine by paying a monthly fee varying according to the volume of parts sorted.
The critical economical situation and the uncertainty brought in by the geopolitical troubles worldwide are encouraging fastener manufacturers to switch from a Capex-based investment policy model to an Opex-based model by reducing the capital in fixed assets. The ‘Pay Per Use’ paradigm aims to help fastener producers when they need more capacity in the short-term but don’t want to invest in a new machine.
The business model also helps fastener manufacturers looking for advanced features such as NDT controls by eddy current for crack detection or heat treatment inspection. The ‘Pay Per Use’ will soon be extended to other European countries through the company sales network.
Dimac Srl will also present its latest generation innovative and versatile machines in Milan, with renewed improvements in hardware and software to guarantee the performance and capability needed to meet the specifications of the latest IATF 16949 certification.
