On 19th November, Saxon Prime Minister Michael Kretschmer announced further drastic Covid-19 restrictions by the state government at a press conference, prohibiting events of all kinds in Saxony, including trade fairs – leading to the cancellation of SchraubTec OST regional trade fair in Dresden on 30th November.
Bernd Weinig, director trade fair solutions & partnerships for organisers of the fair Vogel Communications Group GmbH & Co. KG, explains: “It has always been our goal to host SchraubTec regional fair in accordance with official Coronavirus protective measures and requirements and to make this industrial connection technology with all its facets tangible. Therefore, the SchraubTec OST in Dresden was cancelled promptly after the announcements of the state government.”
“Even if we cannot start together with our exhibitors in Dresden due to official requirements, we want to keep the regional trade fairs for ‘industrial screw connections’ going next year. We are looking forward to the restart in Dresden on 17th November 2022 and the other dates in 2022.
