Record breaking year for Stuttgart 24 January 2017

Fastener Fair Stuttgart 2017, the world’s leading exhibition for the fastener and fixing industry, has seen a growth of 7% compared to the previous event – with 97% of total available stand spaces sold.

Taking place from 28th – 30th March in Halls 1, 3 and 5 at the Stuttgart Exhibition Grounds, Germany, the new hall positioning has increased the available net exhibition space to 20,500m2. To date approximately 790 companies from 41 countries have secured their stands at the 7th international exhibition for the fastener and fixing industry, including those from Germany, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and the United Kingdom. Asian exhibitors mainly come from Turkey, China, India and Taiwan.
The further growth of Fastener Fair Stuttgart demonstrates that the industry outlook is currently rather positive. “At the moment, the fastener and fixing industry is influenced by the developments in the areas of automation and digitalisation in construction as well as lightweight engineering in the automotive industry. These topics offer new challenges for manufacturers of fastener and fixing technology, which are characterised by increased productivity and quality as well as the joining of a variety of materials. The leading trade exhibition offers the perfect opportunity for visitors to discover the latest solutions and discuss the trends in the industry with other experts,” says Liljana Goszdziewski, exhibition director of Fastener Fair Stuttgart, on behalf of organisers Mack Brooks Exhibitions.
Fastener Fair Stuttgart covers all areas of the fastener and fixing industry such as industrial fasteners and fixings, construction fixings, assembly and installation systems, as well as fastener manufacturing technology. The show targets distributors, suppliers, engineers and other industry professionals making it the meeting place for the whole industry. Companies still interested in exhibiting at Fastener Fair Stuttgart 2017 are advised to contact the organisers Mack Brooks Exhibitions as soon as possible, as there is a limited number of stands still available.
