From 1st October 2022, HUSUM WIND, a technology trade fair for the German renewable energy market, has new management, with Diana Haagen as project director.
Haagen has many years of international experience in the B2B segment of the trade fair industry. For more than ten years, she worked for Hamburg Messe und Congress GmbH as project manager for maritime trade fairs, among others. She was also responsible for the market launch and positioning of SMM’s foreign subsidiaries SMM India and SMM Istanbul.
Previously, she has also worked in the foreign department and was responsible for the organisation of German pavilions which are held worldwide as part of the foreign trade fair programme by BMWi (Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action). In recent years, the certified event manager has been self employed.

in-depth knowledge of the trade fair industry. She is a native of Husum and has followed the development of HUSUM WIND since its beginnings. We are very pleased that she is taking over the position as project director for this trade fair.”
The HUSUM WIND website has also been relaunched in a new design together with a new logo and claim; ‘Transforming Energy.’
