Las Vegas show offers buyers more value and opportunity

Following a strong show in 2015, new organisers Emerald Expositions says that the 36th annual National Industrial Fastener & Mill Supply Expo (NIFMSE), scheduled for 25th – 27th October 2016, will have more industry support than it has ever had in its history.
Susan Hurley, show director at NIFMSE, explains: “Our attendees will see new suppliers both domestic and international, new products and solutions, and also have the opportunity to attend the comprehensive conference schedule offered during the show to help grow and improve their business.”
Held at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas, USA, NIFMSE is outpacing its exhibit space sales and is projected to sell out the 100,000 square foot (approximately 9,300m²) newly expanded exhibition hall. Returning brands include Brighton-Best International with 1,200 square foot, Lindstrom with 800 square foot, and Stelfast Inc with 700 square foot of space. Each showcasing various products from standard metric and inch nuts, bolts and screws to machinery and tools.
Susan continues: “In addition, we’re very excited to welcome new companies to the show. Distributors will have a wider network of suppliers to choose from, such as bolts manufacturer GDPA Fasteners and Phoenix Specialty Manufacturing Co, which supplies specialty parts, as well as WAFIOS Machinery Corporation carrying the latest in machinery.”
Equally as important as finding new suppliers is attending the full day conference programme offered on day one by the National Fastener Distributor Association (NFDA), Fastener Training Institute, Pacific-West Fastener Association, Manufacturers’ Agents National Association (MANA), National Fastener Industry Suppliers Financial Manager Network, and Women in the Fastener Industry (WIFI).
To embrace the next generation, NIFMSE has also announced its partnership with the Young Fastener Professionals (YFP), an organisation that “hopes to create a platform for young professionals, and the businesses employing them to develop, educate and enhance a variety of business initiatives through strategic analyses.”
NIFMSE encourages anyone starting out to attend and network with veterans of the industry. In addition, the show will recognise and award a young professional, nominated by the industry, who has made a significant contribution to the betterment of the fastener industry.
“As the leading fastener show in North America, we are at the forefront of innovation, technology and solution services in the industry. Backed by Emerald Expositions we plan to invest more marketing dollars to draw top suppliers and distributors from around the world,” says Linh Vu, marketing director of international sourcing and manufacturing groups at Emerald Expositions.
