Organised by the International Trade Administration, Ministry of Economic Affairs (TITA), and jointly executed by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) and the Taiwan Industrial Fasteners Institute (TIFI), Fastener Taiwan 2024 concluded successfully on 7th June with over 10,000 professional buyers and industry insiders from 60 different countries and regions.
Fastener Taiwan 2024 brought together over 300 domestic and international exhibitors, occupying nearly 1,000 booths – a 20% increase in scale compared to the previous edition. The exhibition attracted professional buyers and industry insiders from a number of countries, with the top five buyer countries being India, Japan, the United States, Vietnam and Germany.
This year’s Fastener Taiwan highlighted three main attractions – the High Value Fastener Gallery, which showcased high value added fasteners for different industry applications, as well as highlighted the diversity and production flexibility of the industry chain; the Sustainability Zone, in response to the global trend towards ‘net zero’ carbon emissions, which displayed innovative achievements in energy saving, carbon reduction and circular economy technologies within the fastener industry; as well as the introduction of the ESG Pioneer Sustainability Label, which increased the visibility of ESG compliant companies but also helps businesses align with international standards.
Several industry exchange activities were also held during the exhibition. The Global Fastener Forum, held on the first morning, attracted a full house of industry professionals. Experts and corporate leaders from home and abroad discussed current hot topics, such as production line digitisation, the EU CBAM, and Artificial Intelligence factories, providing valuable references and suggestions for industry players.
The second day’s activities were equally exciting, with the procurement policy briefing by F. Reyher Nchfg GmbH & Co KG attracting a large audience. The practical briefing on EU CBAM also provided advice for Taiwanese companies. Additionally, TAITRA invited international buyers from 13 countries, including the USA, Japan, Germany, Spain, France, the UK, Sweden, Bulgaria, Brazil, and Hungary, to visit Taiwan for 162 business meetings with exhibitors – helping fastener companies explore potential business opportunities.
The next exhibition is scheduled for 2026.
