Fastener Taiwan already planning for 2016

The 2016 International Fastener Show (Fastener Taiwan), scheduled to take place from 11th – 13th April 2016 at the Kaohsiung Exhibition Center, will once again showcase the vast and varied innovations from a sector in constant change, and build upon the support it received from the fastener industry during the successful edition of the show in April 2014.
In just two days the Fastener Taiwan 2014 show established itself as a world competitive event for fasteners by welcoming 2,000 international buyers (+10.2% on 2012) from over 70 countries, as well as 20,000 domestic visitors, to generate an estimated US$400 million (approximately 338 million euros) in business.
Organised by MOEA (Bureau of Foreign Trade) and Kaohsiung City Government, and implemented by TAITRA (Taiwan External Trade Development Council) and TIFI (Taiwan Industrial Fasteners Institute), the International Fastener Show (Fastener Taiwan) is based just minutes away from Taiwan’s largest and most dynamic syndicate clusters for bolts, nuts, screws, clamps and other fastener products.
Last year Taiwan’s screw exports grew 10%, reaching US$4.2 billion (3.5 billion euros) in value and 1.55 million tonnes by volume according to the Taiwan Industrial Fasteners Institute. Taiwan is the second largest exporter of fasteners in the world, with the top five destinations for exports being the USA, Germany, the Netherlands, Japan, and the UK.
In 2014 the Taiwan International Fastener Show attracted buyers from top companies in Germany, France, the USA, the Czech Republic, the UK, Japan, the Netherlands, and Italy. Including big names such as Theo Förch GmbH & Co KG, Magna Steyr Shanghai, Würth Industrie GmbH & Co KG, Johnson Controls, and Busch Armaturen spol s.r.o.
For Fastener Taiwan 2016, organisers expect 400+ exhibitors across 1,000 booths, which will include international and Cross-Strait pavilions. Notable manufacturers and service suppliers already confirmed as exhibiting at the 2016 show include Zyh Yin Ent Co Ltd, San Shing Fastech Corp, Taikyu Co Ltd, Ying Ming Industry Co Ltd, Chun Yu Works & Co Ltd, Taiwan Shan Yin Int Co Ltd, Fang Sheng Screw Co Ltd, Tong Hwei Ent Co Ltd, Chun Zu Machinery Industry Co Ltd, Rodex Fasteners Corp, LU CHE SHIN YEE Works Co Ltd and Tycoons Group Ent Co Ltd.
Once again exhibitors at Fastener Taiwan 2016 will cover a wide variety of fastener products, fastener manufacturing services, fastener manufacturing equipment, fastener tools, meters and instruments, and steel material supply. Organisers reported that more than 85% of fastener exhibitors in 2014 vowed to join the coming 2016 show, with more than 90% of buyers in 2014 saying they were very satisfied with the show.
