Organisers have announced that Fastener Fair India – New Delhi, originally scheduled for 8th – 9th May 2020, has been rescheduled to now take place 4th – 5th September 2020 – still at Pragati Maidan exhibition centre (ITPO).
The show organisers stated: “Like all of you, we have carefully monitored the global health emergency related to coronavirus (Covid-19), which has now been globally declared a pandemic and a notified disaster in India. It is imperative that we prioritise the health and safety of everyone involved in Fastener Fair India – New Delhi 2020; employees, customers and exhibitors.
We have taken this very difficult decision due to the such extraordinary situation in the region and around the world. We consulted with all our stakeholders, especially key exhibitor and visitor groups, and national pavilions, and took our decision in alignment with the directives and advice from the Indian public health authorities and the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi regarding public events, as well as travel to and from impacted countries. We are grateful to our customers for all their support and constructive input during this challenging period.
We will continue to closely monitor the on-going situation and remain in close contact with all our Fastener Fair India – New Delhi stakeholders over the coming weeks and our thoughts remain with all those impacted by the virus.”
