This year’s event placed a strong emphasis on innovation and specialist solutions, catering to virtually all industries and applications – from hardware and construction to high-tech sectors and medical products.
Fastener Fair Global 2025 brought together 1,000 leading suppliers from 40 nations, filling four extensive halls with thousands of fastener and fixing products and services, impressive equipment and live machinery. The show has expanded to 52,000m2 gross, and many exhibitors took the opportunity to design their own custom-built stands, creating a dynamic and engaging atmosphere for networking and business.
“This year’s event not only had a standout look and feel – it was also buzzing with groundbreaking innovations and business opportunities, sending a bold signal of progress and growth to the market,” highlights Stephanie Cerri, event director for Fastener Fair Global at RX. “We are proud to have delivered a successful event for an industry driven by innovation, investment, and global collaboration – even amidst a challenging economic climate. We are delighted by the positive feedback from the fastener and fixing community, who continue to embrace Fastener Fair Global as their international hub for networking, research, and business.”
High-quality contacts across nations and markets
The event delivered massively on visitor quality, with 83% of visitors having direct or advisory decision making responsibility. The majority of visitors were fastener or fixing distributors, suppliers, wholesalers and manufacturers.
Visitor figures further highlighted the show’s strong global reach, with 61% of visitors coming from abroad. Alongside Germany, the top visitor countries in 2025 were Italy, the United Kingdom, Taiwan, Poland, China, Spain, France, the Netherlands, and Turkey – reflecting both key manufacturing nations in Europe and emerging global markets in this sector. The main visitor industries included automotive, distribution, construction and civil engineering, metal products, aerospace, mechanical and precision engineering, hardware and DIY, electronics and electrical goods, energy and power generation, installation, HVAC, plumbing and sanitary, furniture, transport and logistics, marine and shipbuilding, communication technology, agriculture and medical devices.
Innovation power delivering real improvements
Fastener Fair Global 2025 welcomed an exciting mix of new companies alongside established global leaders. The newly introduced Innovation and Sustainability Pavilion in Hall 7 was well received, showcasing pioneering fastener and fixing solutions that excelled in performance while minimising environmental impact.
Among the many innovation leaders on the exhibition stands, three companies were recognised with special awards in the Route to Fastener Innovation Competition which celebrates innovations introduced to the market within the past 24 months. Organised by Fastener + Fixing Magazine, the prestigious award went to Growermetal SpA for the GROWER ECONICAL® standard conical washers, combining outstanding lightness and performance; Böllhoff GmbH for the QUICK FLOW Plus screws, which securely join thin sheets without pre-drilling or nuts; and Bralo S.A for the BT18N riveting tool, offering remarkable speed, high durability and reliability.
Positive visitor experience in a promising business environment
The vibrant atmosphere onsite added to a general sense of enthusiasm and achievement, with many active and meaningful conversations on the exhibition stands. Visitors were supported by a range of event tools and features, including the new Fastener Fair App to plan their show visit, the ColleqtQR Scanners for paperless networking, and special Digital Gift Bags for show-exclusive offers and services.
On the exhibitor side, suppliers commented on the high quality of visitors, which facilitated a collaborative environment for networking and business. There was a general consensus that this year’s event has been vital for the fastener and fixings industry, providing a remarkable platform for innovation and technological advancement from which to move forward to future opportunities.
