Excitement builds for Fastener Fair Italy 13 September 2016

Around 170 leading suppliers of fastener and fixing products, technologies and services are making their final preparations for this month’s Fastener Fair Italy show in Milan.

Opening its doors at the city’s MiCo – Milano Congressi on 28th – 29th September, the event is the latest in a highly successful series of international Fastener Fairs bringing together manufacturers of fasteners and fastener production systems, distributors and end users.
Companies from 12 countries will be exhibiting at the show, including those from Italy, France, Germany, Spain, Turkey, the UK and the USA.
Broad visitor appeal
With Italy ranked as Europe’s second largest manufacturing economy after Germany, the exhibition provides a great opportunity for managers, engineers and buyers from the country’s key industrial sectors – such as automotive manufacturing, aerospace, energy generation and distribution, as well as marine and engineering industries – to meet companies at the forefront of fastener technology and discover their latest innovations.
Fastener Fair Italy will also attract visitors from vital consumer oriented industries such as white goods manufacturing and furniture making, plus the important construction fixings market. Distributors and resellers of fasteners and fixings will also form a further significant portion of show visitors.
Olivia Griscelli, exhibition director at organisers Mack Brooks Exhibitions, says: “Fasteners and related products have an important role in virtually every area of industry. This is a highly competitive market, and one that sees frequent innovations. By visiting Fastener Fair Italy, managers and engineers have a unique opportunity to engage face-to-face with suppliers to learn what’s new and how they might get the best deals for their organisations.”
Free to attend seminars
Visitors to Fastener Fair Italy will also be able to attend free seminars providing valuable insights into technical and regulatory issues currently impacting the fasteners market. Devised by show partner Fasten.it in collaboration with event organiser Mack Brooks Exhibitions, the programme features seminars on both days of the show.
On 28th September, Bruno Troiano of Frontline Consulting will present: ‘Distribution of fasteners: Market changes and technological innovation.’ On 29th September, Barbara Sorgato, general secretary of the European Consortium of Anchors Producers (ECAP) will present: ‘Structural anchors and Construction Products Regulation’ and will examine major changes in the CE Marking of European construction products. Also on the same day three speakers, Jean-Paul Amaro of French fasteners and wire manufacturer
UGIVIS S.A and Fausto Capelli and Paolo Viganò of Centro Inox SAS, will discuss aspects of the outlook for the stainless steel fasteners sector. The full programme of speakers is available online.

The show will be open to trade visitors only. Pre-registration via www.fastenerfairitaly.com will remain free of charge until Tuesday 27th September. An entry fee of €30 will be payable by visitors who register online after that date or on arrival at the venue.
