Compact, lightweight Rivdom®ZERO 18 February 2019

The new mini cordless battery riveting tool from VVG, Rivdom®ZERO, is for blind rivets up to 5mm in diameter and is compact, lightweight and simply powerful.

Rivdom®ZERO features the already well known ultra compact RivSmart® body, an almost wear-free brushless motor, and RivdomPLUS charging technology – with high-quality lithium ion batteries, including an optical charge indicator, which are recharged to 90% and ready for use after just 20 minutes.

The change of wearing parts such as clamping jaws and nosepieces is completely tool-free.

With a weight of only 1.3kg maximum comfort and a permanent fatigue-free working is guaranteed.

Special attention was paid to the topic of perfect ergonomics. The tool is very well balanced and despite the compact overall dimensions the rubberised handle fits for all sizes of hands whether left or right handed. The rotary trigger with a very low release force completes the work experience.

In addition to the low weight, the smallest possible dimensions were the focus of development, in order to be able to work without problems even in the most confined installation situations. Thus, all front sleeves have a diameter of only 20mm and the overall length of the RivdomZERO can be reduced by the supplied safety cap for safe riveting without mandrel container to an unrivalled 195mm.

The integrated mandrel safety device ensures maximum work safety according to the machinery directive. The ability to switch between a manual and automatic rewind mode ensures optimal adjustment to individual requirements.

Like all cordless battery riveting tools from VVG-Befestigungstechnik GmbH & Co, RivdomZERO also offers a multitude of practical details such as the belt clip, a suspension bracket for working on the balancer, a sturdy, transparent mandrel container, an LED for the illumination of the riveting point and the L-Boxx® system case.
