SMART® fixings from pgb-Polska

pgb-Polska sp z.o.o is a manufacturer of high-quality nylon, steel and chemical anchors, developed under the brand name SMART®. The high performance fixing systems, and a full range of packing possibilities, combine to provide fastening solutions for every branch of the construction industry.
Pgb-Polska is constantly developing its product range to offer customers the best products and technical assessments, with the company reporting that its has more than 600 SKUs covered by comprehensive ETAs.
pgb-Polska’s first range is its nylon anchor series, which includes the nylon frame fixings RP, RPT, RPF and RPC – available with different screws in both carbon steel (zinc plated, hot dip galvanised) and stainless steel (A2). The products are covered for use in all categories and offer excellent hold in all substrates.
pgb-Polska reports that it is the only company that has an ETA for multifunctional nylon plugs with different screws – such as its plug type LBP and BP (ETA – 10/0392). These plugs provide safe and secure solutions for lighter applications. The hammer nail plugs PKK and SP are also certified (ETA – 12/0572).
The mechanical anchors in the SMART® range include drop-in anchors (types IA, IAL and IAD), which are covered for multiple use for non-structural applications (part 6) as well as for structural applications in concrete (Option 7). pgb-Polska also recently introduced a completely renewed concrete screw range – the TURBOSMART. The anchor is available with different head styles and also has two assessments: Non-structural and Option 1 with Seismic C1 (ETA – 16/0308).
For ceiling and fireboard applications the company has launched a special hammer nail anchor (S-NA), with Part 6 assessment. Torque controlled through bolt anchors, Option 7 (SMK) and Option 1 (SKA) and metal shield expansion anchors (type T, K, H) complete the range of mechanical anchors.
In addition to the nylon and mechanical anchors pgb-Polska also offers chemical anchors – supported by extensive European Technical Assessments and other test reports. These products include polyester S-IRP (ETA – 13/0750) for Option 7, epoxy acrylate S-RVE and S-SVE (ETA – 15/0871 and ETA – 16/0019) for Option 7, and the vinylester glass capsule anchor S-SCV (ETA – 14/0308) for Option 1 and Option 7 as well as Seismic C1.
