ZZE-Handyplug®, the HDPE multipurpose anchor for ETICS (external thermal insulation composite materials), is the latest product from Tecfi SpA that has received both a European Technical Assessment (ETA – 15/0641) and CE marking.

Designed by Tecfi’s R&D department, the anchor aims to fulfil all the needs of engineers and craftsmen. In fact the anchor got a very high grade ETA for the variety of base materials in can be used in (use category a, b, c, d and e), according to ETAG 014.

Advantages of the ZZE-Handyplug® include a simple and quick hammer set installation; anchorage without thermal bridge; reduced embedment depth; a wide range in terms of thicknesses of fixture; as well as a stiffness of the nail during the installation – thanks to its ribbed neck and its thick head.

In addition to ZZE-Handyplug, Tecfi has introduced a self-drilling helix nylon anchor for indoor and outdoor fixings on insulation panels without predrill, available in heavy type with 33mm head diameter (range code WS01) and normal type with 25mm head diameter (range code WV01).

In the last few months Tecfi has also designed a new nylon anchor with nail screw with a multi-expansion geometry. This YZ nylon anchor is suitable for concrete, bricks, hollow masonry, hollow bricks and aerated autoclaved concrete. The range is available with mushroom, countersunk and cylinder edge, in natural white, light grey and chocolate brown colours.

These new products enlarge the already wide range of Tecfi nylon anchors such as VS-Handyplug® multipurpose nylon anchors for façades and frames, with ETA-CE (use category a, b and c) and 90 minutes fire rating; VZ-Handyplug® multipurpose nylon anchors (short sizes); AX, CN, BE and HH nylon anchors with two, six and eight wings; as well as nylon frame anchors.
