Based in Glasgow, UK, Evolution Fasteners Ltd has announced that its technical department has now developed a new range of long length Super Tek timber tek screws.
Drawing from its previous experience and expertise – from calculations to estimate physical strength and performance; AutoCAD drawings; material and hardening specifications; as well as coating design and specification – Evolution Fasteners was able to produce a new, niche long length timber to steel connecting fastener. The Super Tek accommodates the fixing of both soft and hard woods to very thick gauge structural steel systems.
When finalised, prototypes were produced and tested extensively in Evolution’s UKAS accredited testing laboratory, which is used by an extensive range of third party customers. To further ensure quality and performance the final mass-produced product was also extensively tested – underlining Evolution’s commitment to the highest quality standards.
