The experienced and enthusiastic team at fischer fixings UK Ltd is stepping into 2016 with plans for continued growth, after 2015 saw the company expand both its sales force – achieving double-digit sales growth – and marketing team.
fischer UK continuously demonstrates its strong technical knowledge through the quality of training and support it provides for construction companies nationwide. Technical support is something the business is keen to publicise, deliver and improve throughout 2016, to ensure every customer gains the support and advice they require to complete their job to the highest standards.
fischer has also implemented an initiative to help bring the customer closer to its technical department using remote technology. The aim is to have a technical team that is always available face-to-face with an installer at all times.
In 2016 the company will also enhance its commercial operation across all aspects of its product portfolio. The range is all set to change this year – how it is presented, how it is sold, and how it is advertised – with specific industry focuses.
Innovative products are the consistent theme, which maintains fischer’s place at the top of the fixings industry. The company launched several new products in 2015, including the FIS V with ETA Option 1 (ETA – 02/0024), and the fischer Nail Fuel Pack. Sales from these and several other new products contributed more than 10% of annual sales and the trend for new products in 2016 is set to be just as impressive.
For 2016, the company is looking to introduce even more new products, including the fischer DUOPOWER plug, FBS 2.0 concrete screw and the new and improved builders pack range. fischer is confident the DUOPOWER plug will prove to be the most advanced two component plug on the market – giving the user higher load values than ever before, coupled with other features that further enhance the usability of the product in all substrates.
The FBS 2.0 will be launched in July. The reusable concrete screw has three different anchoring depths and seismic C1 and C2 approval – presenting, fischer believes, the highest safety standards in the industry to date.
The company is also entering 2016 with a more hands on approach to promoting its reliable range of products, employing more imaginative marketing techniques, even more product launches and continuous improvements in selling and advertising. It is also plans to become increasingly prominent in all areas of social media to further promote its quality products and services.
fischer UK has committed to visit and interact with double the number of customers it visited in 2015, ensuring it maintains its excellent customer relationships. fischer’s customer service department has also been expanded by 25% to further enhance the support it is able to give customers, as well as to reduce the response time to deal with enquiries.
“Considerable growth is our target for 2016 and we plan to achieve this by utilising the existing experience and enthusiasm in the company, with new ideas and innovations. We believe that 2016 will prove to be an incredibly successful, if not the most successful, year ever for fischer UK.”
