DL Chemicals has obtained an European Technical Assessment (ETA – 18/0009) for the chemical anchor Parachim Methacrylate. Based on this certificate a DoP was made and CE Marking has been added on the packaging.
Parachim Methacrylate is a two component, vinylester fixing that is perfect for all stress-free anchoring in either dry or humid materials. It is used for the fixation of wire rods, screws, roller shutters, and staircase handrails, and can be used in hollow and solid material. Fixation close to the edge or in a corner is also possible and the styrene‑free product does not shrink.
Parachim Methacrylate is available in two versions and can be applied from a standard cartridge gun. The grey version, in cartridges of 280ml, offers curing colour proof, which means users can clearly see when the product is fully cured and when it can be loaded. When the product is applied, it is blue. Only when it is fully cured does it regain its normal grey colour. This helps prevent the fixation being loaded too soon. Also available is a regular beige version in a 300ml cartridge.
