When it comes to safety critical applications, fixings need to live up to the highest requirements. That’s why with almost 60 years of experience, CELO products are continuing to receive ETA certifications.
CELO’s most recent ETA certified products include the injection mortar ResiFIX Pure Epoxy EPP SF; the new distance mounting system ResiTHERM® 16; and the multifunctional frame plug MFR.
CELO points out that its injection mortar ResiFIX Pure Epoxy EPP SF excels in the ETA tests with an expected service life of 100 years – when the ETA normally states a service life of 50 years. Being safe and long-lasting, the injection mortar is suitable for fixing heavy loads in cracked and non-cracked concrete. In addition, EPP is also very versatile in application, the product is, for example, approved for diamond drilling and has obtained the European Technical Assessment for post-installed rebar connections. It can be used in water filled drill holes and is even suitable for contact with drinking water.
Also receiving an ETA this year, the distance mounting system ResiTHERM® 16 helps fasten heavy loads such as canopies, awnings, French balconies or satellite dishes on insulated façades – bridging the insulation and anchoring safely in the brick or concrete walls. ResiTHERM® 16 also prevents thermal bridges with its glass fibre reinforced thermal-separation module and offers a safe sealing even against driving rain in accordance to DIN EN 1027 1A.
Lastly, CELO says it is constantly adding new sizes to its range of MFR multifunctional frame plugs with two setting depths. Due to the high demand, the company has also invested in a fully automatic assembly machine, which pre-assembles the plug and screw, saving users time in the installation process.
