Known for being a high-quality hardened steel nail brand, Don Quichotte B.V is now growing its electrical installation portfolio – from clips to saddles, cable harnesses, cable trunking, mounting strip, as well as earthing material. 

Naj van Galen, international sales and marketing manager at Don Quichotte, explains: “We are of course known as a brand for our hardened steel nails, but in the last few decades we have really developed into the electrical (and sanitary) fasteners and fixings sector. Our electrical installation portfolio is growing every year, especially in the European market, where we specialise in private label products and packaging with our De Wit concept.”

The De Wit concept is to provide every wholesaler in Europe with a solution for their private label regarding installation and fastening products – in individualised packaging for a competitive price. The latest innovation includes a product range suited for direct fastening - nylon cable harnesses and pressure clips, which can be directly fastened with setting tools from known manufacturers such as Bosch, fischer and Spit.

In addition to this, Don Quichotte is also introducing a KKM metal cable harness, which is compliant to the 18^th edition of wiring regulations. The cable bracket is versatile, easy to use and very reliable, as well as being able to be fastened by all different types of fixings, such as screws, nail dowels and anchors.
